STRATUM is our web-based data collection product. It can be used for both qualitative and quantitative studies.

There are five major editions of STRATUM.

• Basic self-administered survey tool. Respondents are recruited (qualified and invited). They are provided a URL and a unique password. They go to the site and conduct a self-administered, self-paced survey at their convenience.
• Research version. Different from basic version in that respondents go to the site and are interviewed by a TWG moderator – respondent controls images only, not the questions or the responses.
• Timed version. Same as research version of STRATUM, except portions of the survey are timed. For example, an image may appear on the screen for a pre-set length of time, and the respondent is quizzed as to recall, content, message, etc. Moderator administered.
• Timed version with pop-up survey. Timed version with pre-set pop-up survey questions. Self-administered.
• Action STRATUM. Streaming video version, to evaluate video – commercials, presentation materials, conference presentations, training videos.
