Challenge: Major pharmaceutical manufacturer needed to understand the effect on their product forecasting from the shift to short-cycle chemotherapy.

Solution: Highly complex quantitative study was conducted among oncologists in a variety of disease states to understand better where the short-cycle approach was being adopted. Both the numbers of oncologists and the incidence of different types of cancer were included in the analysis and projections.

Result: Multi-year forecast was adjusted to reflect both numbers of new patients and the impact of short cycle chemotherapy by disease type.
